Jacque Arend grew up and lived in Michigan for 19 years. In that time she was active in her high school theater department and studied film in college. Jacque was always cast as the comic relief role in most of her high school productions. In college she once made a film nior piece involving the theft of The Super Bowl Shuffle on record.

In 1999 Jacque moved to Phoenix. Taking 6 years to find her purpose in life she took a summer to live in Chicago in 2005 and study improv at IO Chicago’s summer intensive. This was exactly what Jacque needed and felt right at home. She set up an audition with Matt Rosin and The Originals before returning to Phoenix.

She performed with the Originals til late 2006. By that time Jacque had been involved with the team of improvisers producing The Phoenix Improv Festival, had become a founding member of The Light Rail Pirates, an original member of Phoenix Neutrino Project and Mail Order Bride.

In 2007 Jacque joined a group of improvisers with a dream to form The Torch Theatre and became and continues to be a founding Board Member.

Today Jacque enjoys all of her improv endeavors but nothing matches the girl power existing within Mail Order Bride. Through the years Mail Order Bride has helped Jacque become more comfortable in a dress.
